It was not a pretty site last night, as the Waterford Whalers continue their losing streak to 0-5 to start the season. The Whalers came out flat in the opening period, they looked sluggish, and disinterest in the game.
Montel brothers were skating around in circles, if they were helicopters they would of taken off into flight, by the 4th twirl. Boytanio looked nervous, making un-character mistakes in his own end. Quad Skates set a new men's league record of most turnovers in a period. Goaltender Steve gave up some cheap slap shots from the point. The Chief Editor was getting burned on defense. Buzz Killington was a total buzz kill as his debut as head coach. It was a total mess.
Frustrated by the lackluster effort, Quad Skates was called for a elbowing penalty. On his way to the penalty box, he had an unfortunate encounter with head ref Luigi. "What did I get called for?" ask Quads
Luigi replied "Elbowing"
"I wasn't anywhere near a guy to elbow him" Quads barked
"Go to the box!" Luigi remarked
"Why don't you go fuck yourself, you asshole plumber. Tell your brother Mario to stop fucking the princess and rescuing you from being an cocksucking ref. If I was a betting man I would bet the house money that Mario used to kick your ass as apprentice plumber. You are the worse human being I've had the chance to meet. So go sit on a plunger! And trim that mustache." Quads commented.
"That's it, your gone. Game misconduct for number 92. " Luigi replied
Quads was ejected from the game, but was allowed to watch the remaining of the game from the Whalers bench. During one of timeouts, a puck was shot into the Whalers bench. Quads pick up the puck and chuck it towards the direction of Luigi's mustache. An displeased Luigi, threw Quads from the facility.
Commissioner Hall, awarded Quads a 1 game suspension for abuse of an official. Great Job Quad Skates!
The frustration of Quad Skates has summed up the season so far for the Whalers. The team has showed flashes of greatness, but hasn't yet earn the confidence to win a game. Team morale is at an all time low, and if things don't change soon it may result in a total shake up in personnel and management.
